Claude Code updated and my loop broke. What do I do?
Run the entrypoint manually to see the real error, check whether it is a permission prompt stalling an unattended session or a crash, and read Claude's release notes for permission or tool-call changes.
The loop's skills are built against Claude's current tool behaviour. An update can shift how bash is invoked or what the safety guards flag. A pattern that used to run cleanly can now wait for an approval that never comes in an unattended session, which looks like nothing happened.
There is no fix that stops this from happening. It is the recurring maintenance cost of running a loop on a platform that ships its own updates.
