Does The Loop run while Claude Desktop is closed?
No. The loop fires through Claude Desktop's Scheduled Tasks, so with the app closed or the machine asleep nothing fires and missed runs are not replayed.
Restarting your machine starts the scheduled tasks firing again unless you disabled them.
