How do I pause The Loop?
Quit Claude Desktop. With the app closed, its Scheduled Tasks do not fire. To make the pause survive a restart, disable both scheduled tasks, context-loop and next-loop.
Nothing queues up while it is off, because Desktop's scheduler does not replay missed runs. Nothing is lost either: the queue stays in docs/tasks/ and loop.config.json is untouched. Open pull requests stay open.
