What is the readiness gate in The Loop?

The readiness gate is an 85 percent context-completion threshold. A task below it gets questions written back instead of code; a task at or above it can be built.

The context agent reads the task and the code around it, then scores how complete the task is, how many open questions remain and how much of the relevant code it has read.

Above the gate, the loop separates real blockers (a fact only you hold, a malformed task) from small choices it can make itself and note in the pull request. That distinction is what makes unattended runs safe.
