Why should I define a task before asking AI to build it?
Because AI turns ambiguity into code at high speed. A thin brief gets filled with guesses, and guesses become silent landmines when the system changes later.
Peter calls definition a kindness: to the model, because it stops role-playing your intent; to your future self, because it gives a stable reference; and to reviewers, because they can check behaviour instead of debating taste.
